when hemu was not praised by HR or ID no one was bothered.why r u guys also becoming like the mentors only talking of debu as if hem does not exit.pl see how much hem was sidelined and given a step child treatment
if u think hem s given step child treatment, then i do not know what debu is given, but try to guess when AS says he is only voice of assam and "jitna aata hai utna gaat hai". atleast nobody ridicules hem.

When the top ten finalists were chosen, judges including Pandit Jasraj and Hari Prasad Chaurasia felt that we were the best. I feel sad when the same mentors now doubt my talent.
How come Debo got yellow light in judge's choice.😉W
Where as Hemachandra had got all green in judge's round..
It clearly indicates that debu is making some bad statements

maybe that judge was bought by YOU? judge hai kee pata nahin kya hai!
lets go along that hema is good, v good. but even then, i think if anything, he has gotten more of a free ride than most of the others. no one has ever seriously criticized him, partly because he sings well, but also because there is some "aura" of being a bit different from the other contestants and the fact that he comes from a musical family. remember jagjit singh episode- abhijeet apparently impressed him the most the first day, but somehow hema was selected as #1 without even so much as a reason being offered. i think even great performers sometimes doubt their own abilities to judge other singers- jaggu was probably told about hema's background and he went along with that... We all get influenced by intangible aspects and sometimes dont trust our own judgment. Hema benefitted on that occasion.
Even the entire issue of diction has been dealt with very gingerly if at all by all the judges/ mentors. Why? Isnt diction important? if it wasn't, then we'd have more indians making it in the western music world. sure, he will improve on that score over time. but then so would have Sanchari the little girl who was eliminated in earlier rounds because she wasnt there yet with a mature voice. Hema has improved a lot on diction, but he is not there yet. the fact that he has survived and come so far shows that if anything he has been given more than a fair deal. my 2-cents fwiw.
