I was kind of expecting this as there was no other way Maulik could get a lead to get to the truth. There was no way Moti was going to come clean with him.

Also when Jhamku was there she mentioned something that happened in the past on the sixth day of Navratri and that time is also coming up. So some dhamaka has to happen on the Kanji-Taru front.
