Himani sings again...
You will not see it on television though... star judge for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finals, Subhash Ghai, asked her to croon for him

Ousted contestant Himani was thrilled to be recalled to Sa Re Ga Ma Pa for a song – at least during the rehearsals of the show's grand finale, by none other than Subhash Ghai. Ghai will be star judge for the finale. Ghai especially asked about Himani, and requested her to sing one of his favourite songs for him. Pleased at the special attention given to her by Ghai, Himani says, "When I was asked to join the finalists to meet Subhashji I was ecstatic. It was a dream come true to meet him. He asked me to sing Reshmaji's 'Lambi judaai...' from his film Hero. When I sang the song, Subhashji seemed very moved."
Last Thursday the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finalists got a pleasant surprise when Subhash Ghai dropped in for their rehearsal and stayed on listening to them sing for him for two-and-a-half hours.
"Subhashji is one of the most music-minded film-makers in Bollywood," says producer-director Gajendra Singh. "I had five long sessions with him before he finally met the finalists on Thursday. Apart from the three finalists Debojit, Vinit and Hemachandra, he especially asked about Himani (who was ousted from the show this week). Subhashji made them all sing his favourite songs. He wanted to stay on, and left quite reluctantly." They say Ghai himself is a music composer of sorts. Though you wouldn't catch him admitting it, it is said that Subhash Ghai has personally composed some of the most famous melodies from his huge repertoire of soundtracks.
"We've planned two sections for the finale, when Subhashji will join us." adds Gajendra Singh. "One devoted to old songs and the other to newer melodies. We'll record with him on January 30." The finals will be telecast on February 2 and 3.
