I agree wholeheartedly with all of you -- this ridiculous system of announcing the votes region wise has turned into a convinient "divide and conquer" strategy for the mentors ....and where's the sportsmanship of this game/challenge??? Everyone including the mentors just want to have their own way...!!!

who knows how many people that are voting actually know what good singing is. they should use people like music directors (old) and present singers to judge.

I live in USA, so I haven't seen the walkout episode yet. I will be watching this on Monday.

However, I think in whatever circumstances the three participants had to walk out, it is not right. This challenge is like a game and irrespective of the voting, the participants should agree on outcome just like a player does in a game.

I also think that it is not wise for mentors to ask to vote to keep Ismail Darbar happy.

It would be great to see that mentors stay away from promoting their candidates. If they must do, then all mentors should be given equal opportunity. Something for Gajendra Singh to establish as rule for 2006.
Mentors should be not allowed to ask for vote, if they do, then all mentors should be allowed equal time of about 30 seconds or a minute to do so.

Because of persuation by mentors, people are voting by region, origin, etc. etc. but not concentrating on singing. I hope people will objectively vote based on singing of the participants.

I think Nihira should not have been out of the show so early.

I also think Debojit tried to get sympathy vote by showing how he cares about elders in elderly home. I respect that but I think that changes the rules of this game. I also think Himesh is trying to hype the love story of Vinit to gain votes for him.

I think there is nothing wrong if Debojit is getting most votes from NE states, isn't that part of India? So ofcourse the votes are legitimate.

Also, mentors should not get upset if other mentors do not give good points to their candidates. Ismail walked out when it happened, he shouldn't have. When he came in the show, he knew the rules, why not accept the outcome?

It would help to understand why each mentor is giving vertain points to participants. In last few episodes, this is not happening properly.

I also think people should vote based on overall past performance of participants, not just on last one.

I also, think Gajendra should have created two top spots, one for Female and one for Male singer.

Here is my ranking of selected top singers:

MALE - 1.Vinit 2.Hemachandra 3.Debojit
FEMALE - 1.Nihira 2.Hemani 3.(Bengoli girl, forgot her name)

Overall I am very happy with the show. One of the great show on TV. I can't miss it. I hope Zee TV does more shows like this.

It is absolutely SILLY and ILLOGICAL to have just one winner at the end of the show instead of one male and one female singer. How can you compare a male and female voice? There is no sport in the world without a separate category for male and female participants.

I would have loved to see Nihira crowned the best female singer and Hemchandra the best male singer.

This is BULL DROPPINGS. I can't believe all you here are dissappointed that all three of them left the show.

I mean none of you have the guts to come out and say the honest truth????? IT IS MUCH EASIER TO SAID then done and let me tell you this, many have lost if/when they followed what you all are preaching here. I CAN'T STAND AGAINST UNJUSTICE PERIOD!! Vineet, Hema, Hemani (favorite) are getting votes from all over the place in India and only Debojit getting all his votes from NE (80%). DON'T you feel that it is odd? I can't believe all you here are saying...(paraphrasing) ~~Oh this is okay, this is how the game is!~. IF THIS IS HOW WE REMAIN THEN I HATE TO SAY INDIA HAS A LOT LEARN! I MEAN NO HONESTY IN VOTING? AND WE ARE NOT VOTING IN A POLITICAL ELECTION HERE!!

I DON'T REMEMBER A SINGLE EPISODE WHEN THEY PERSONALLY ASKED FOR VOTE, AS IF YOU ARE GOOD, PEOPLE GIVE YOU AUTOMATICALLY. THE ONLY AND I REALLY MEAN ONLY PERSON I HAVE SEEN ASKING FOR VOTE IS DEBOJIT!!!!!

He was the cry baby few weeks ago when he complained about how NE has lost connect or some other bull drops and he might lose. I CAN'T BELIEVE how people are voting AND REACTING TO THESE FINE KIDS BOLD MOVE?? I mean COME ON...this is NO POLITICS!! (Which by the way was a suprise too!!) SOMEONE HAD TO WAKE UP AND TAKE THE FIRST STEP...UNLIKE MOST OF YOU IN THIS FORUM... YOU ARE PLAYING WITH these kids life here...these are 12th grade students who left schools (not Deobjit, though i have nothing against him)...if you have to show ANY sympathy then show towards these 3 kids. And if you don't want to show

sympathy then USE YOUR "gdam" head!! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LICK THEIR FACE (UNLESS YOU ARE a creep) OR LIVE WITH THEM...You are going to listen to their voice...

IT IS A GAME I GET IT (AND YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH RESULTS I GET THAT PART TOO) but if you are running against Ben Johnsons's of the India and a person in a wheelchair wins the race YOU WILL BE QUESTIONING HIS VICTORY .... ALL YOUR LIFE!!!!!! I RATHER FIGHT NOW THEN REGRET IT LATER!! I COMMEND (unlike most of you in this forum) Hemu, Vineet & Hemani for what they did...i think they should never come back as just like Quazi, Debojit will never lose, and if you know your talent has no value there - QUIT..PERIOD.

AND TO Gajendra if you ever read this, learn lessons from this. Sometimes it is NOT about money...it is about passion. If you want Indians to listen to quality singers (and if that is your passion) forget that lame SMS voting system and get expensive judges in the final rounds (at least 7-10, so less fight).

I think mentors asking for votes is very COOL, as it brings out reality in this show!! I like Hemesh cheer for Vineet...as you don't get to see that very often in a!~~ music show~~!!

THEN AGAIN...THIS IS JUST MY POINT, MOST OTHER HAVE GOOD POINTS TOO. I BELIEVE EVERY SINGLE VOICE COUNTS!

Well Vijay and all fellows and fans of srgmp, I feel now strongly-they should stop this--public voting system of judging-it is not just any other''reallity show-it i s sa re ga ma pa which was known for it's Quality---------now which is gone down by all this conspiracy-----SAD!!!!!Really, after that incident i feel like stop seeing saregamapa.Is there anyone to advice Gajendra singh to give us back our clean and fair old sa re ga ma pa-not to follow Idion Idol or same shows--- alpana Thanks

Personally I think walking out of the contest/game was unwarranted by Vineet, Hema & Himani. As none of them was really able to answer properly to the reason "why". Well if its because of "Regional voting" then I have my pity on them cause this is not a new thing.

Whats the point raising it NOW as it is the format of the show to allow Multiple Voting so they cant quit due to this. And if it was planned beforehand and is against Ismail Darbar then why they waited for Debojit to go in the Safe Zone.

There is one more question which comes to my mind. If we are looking for a really genuine results through public votes. If we really feel the best and deserving should win then we should first of all stop "multiple voting" which will encourage many individuals like me who feel that my ONE vote wont make much difference and even the result is not going to be FAIR so why I PUT my money on anyone.

We encourage some serious discussion on this so please do not drop ONE liners or try to deviate from the topic and please be Rational!
