TV serials ending

Hey you guys i read somewhere that KMH is ending and its becuase NDTV does not want serials to go on for long. But as far as i know KMH started around the same time as Bandini, hence i am super worried bandini will end soon.
I really like bandini. and its the only serial i watch. i reeeeeeeaallllly don't want it to end. 😭 I just hope they realise that bandini has too many viewers and hence they should not think of ending it either. At least not for a while.

Don't worry dear. It won't be ending anytime soon. They still have a lot more story to tell😃

It's true that Imagine does not let it's serials drag on endlessly if the past precedent is anything to go by and I think thats how it should be, all shows should have a finite length and a definite conclusion....but I also think it depends on the popularity of the serial and the kind of TRPs it is drawing. From what I hear, KMH wasn't doing too well wrt to TRPs, I guess thats why the channel decided to pull the plug on it but Bandini is their top serial and continues to be despite some new shows being aired, so don't expect it to end anytime soon. But I also beleive that if the TRPs start sliding and the show is not able to maintain it's popularity then the channel will not hesitate to pull the plug as it has with many of it's past shows and it wouldn't matter how much story is left to tell or how many tracks are left to finish....it will just fast-track these and end the show....I know it did with one of my favorite shows earlier this year. So, as long as Bandini continues to pull in the audience, it should be fine.

I don't think Bandini is ending any time soon they still have so much left to uncover but I am liking the fact that NDTV don'r drag on a show past a certain point cause they do become pointless to watch!

dips - the show I was referring to was Main Teri Parchhain Hoon -- it was going great guns but then everything started happening too fast -- it took almost 10 months for the leads to get married(not sure if you saw the show but in that too their marriage was sort of a compromise, but the reason for the marriage and the relationship between the leads was very different from Bandini) but then within a month the female lead got pregnant, had a baby, the leads fell in love (in that order😕) and while we were still wondering what was going on, it was announced that the show was ending in a few weeks time....needless to say it was very disappointing.

I like the fact that Imagine does not let it's shows drag....never liked the whole cycle of the leads splitting up, getting hitched to others and then re-uniting just so that they could drag the show like in K-shows. But at the same time don't like it when the ending is fast-tracked....would like it better if the ending happened at the same pace as the rest of the show.

And yes, I would miss DM and Santo too when the show ends, I hope they show some cute moments between them before that happens. But I would rather that the show ends when Santo is accepted by DM and the whole family than dragging the show endlessly and in order to do that, showing them splitting up again and god knows what else.

I want a happy ending for our SanRaj, nothing else will do! I will be ticked off, if they end with them parting or some such nonsense.
