What is wrong with DM I dont think he wants his Chokri back. 😭 In the hospital he tells her that the divorce has come through and that she is no more his wife and gives her a big lecture on humanity and on humanitarian grounds she should come and take care of Baa. 😕 Whats this??

DM is not an illliterate like Santu or the villagers that he does not know about the legalities of a divorce. Bth husband and wife have to face the magistrate and agree to the divorce only then will it come through as far as I know ! I😕 think DM feels it is better that his Chokri goes back to her nanaji and stays there. 😭 😭

DM Baa and Bapuji are just tongue tied in front of Taru 😡 they just dont want to say anything in support of Santu even if she is getting insulted in front of them. And this divorce thing is just hanging over all the viewers heads for too long now. 🤢

The creatives want Hiten to do somethng abt it but they are just making him sit in the house and ponder abt the whole thing and not making the least bit of effort to go and stop the proceedings. 😲

DM is going to make arrangements for the sharad of Subhadra, but didn't that take place just a few months back !

I just dont know what to think now? What is going to happen? 😕😕

I agree with you Gauri. DM was not at all the man that I know him to be, today. Creatives really goofed up.
They just had Subhi's death anniversary few months ago, so the creatives prob have amnesia again.

As Hema mentioned in another post, seems like Barsi is different from Shraddh --barsi is a puja done on death anniversary of a person while shraddh is a puja done during the days prior to navratri for members of the family who have passed away - so looks like creatives know what they are doing.

However, they really seem to be messing up the divorce track - too many holes in that track like all these educated, worldly-wise people ignorant as to how divorce works, DM not being served court summons, etc....hope all this is not a prelude to a remarriage and another wedding ceremony....I don't think I would like that especially since they are already married....but Ekta likes weddings, so who knows....have seen other shows where lead couple goes through multiple wedding ceremonies to each other even though they are already married to each other...I guess they feel the need to repeat their marriage vows multiple times...lol. But I hope Bandini is different....I don't want to see another wedding ceremony between SanRaj....that would be an unnecessary distraction....would rather that his whole divorce issue ends and they show DM progressing towards realizing and acknowledging his feelings and fully accepting Santo and finally putting Moti in her place.

After seeing tonight's episode, and seeing DM's reactions, I feel DM is mighty upset about the divorce and feels helpless to do anything about it....if only he would talk to a lawyer!!!! Someone, please tell the man he is not divorced yet, since he doesn't seem to realize it himself!!!!!!

From his reaction, i think he was p***ed off at Moti but I think it is the whole theme that we have been seeing throughout Bandini...probaby because of his respect since she is his elder sister plus his gratitude since she(as far as he knows) gave up her life for him and his kids....prevents him from taking her to task for all her misdeeds....but enough already DM, it's time to put Moti in her place! It also could be that he did not feel it was his place to come to Santo's defense because he believes she is no one to him anymore and he has no right over her (he didn't seem too pleased about that either).

Ultimately, don't think Santo will be there as a servant, don't think Baa will allow that. Santo said that she would be willing to be there as a servant for Baa's sake, not that she was going to be there as a servant.

(btw, very very well played with subtle glances by RR - i'm not used to subtle acing on indian tv drama's i've become accustomed to people setting fire to stuff and epilepsy-inducing visual effects plus slow-mo 😕 so forgive me for missing it the first time round)

but why? because he's worried about his ba and can't tell santuri what to do or because he's upset he's lost his rights over her?

Yeah....he's good, isn't he? Don't normally see such a standard of acting on Indian telly.

Of course he is worried about Baa, but I also beleive that he trusts his chokri to do the right thing, thats why he went and talked to her about coming home.

My take is that he is very upset about losing chokri.....does not like it one bit that he has lost all his rights over her....Hiten! come to your papa's rescue!!! Please explain to the man that she is still very much his wife!!!

one way bandini is different as of now... but soon it may follow the suit like other balaji shows... two will marry many times till the end of the show even without a divorce between them...

here DM is between his dedication to his ex-wife and the realisation of his feeling about a good human or woman in santu who he think even subadra will be happy with her for what she is doing to take care of her kids... he has to keep the mangalsutra man(😆)... he is hurt when he took the mangalsutra in his hands... but he is a man who knows shout at others then crying when he is hurt... though may not be another wedding, he is going to need it.. if the trackes are considered, first kaddu accepted santu, then birwa, now hiten.. this guy who understood her worth before them had already developed a kind of respect to this baby wife of his... first he tied that mangal sutra and bought a servant to his home. now he will bring a wife to his home with the same mangalsutra... by all means she is really a bandini... fool that she is making it with her soul to that family... its balaji, one can expect the most unexpected.... the only thing mostly the creatives appeares to lack is brain... if they talked about the broken rishta after a secret court hearing then i wouldn't have told this... well i hope atleast they will maintain the standard of this show, and will not scoop down like many other good shows...

OK so I watched two episodes back to back last night and after thinking over DM's actions here is my take on it.

On the second day in his scene with Moti, the dialogue writers goofed up when they make him say that they have no right to abuse her now that the divorce has happened and also his justification to Santu.

But him being helpliess in the current situation does go with his character in a way. DM is a straight shooter and a lives a structured but compartmentalized life. Under such situations he is the 'take charge' kind of man we see. But now the people in his life and the relations are becoming complex. There are conflicting thoughts and feeling going on in his head and heart and he just does not seem to know how to deal with them.

Give the man a complex and challanging business situation and he knows what to do and how to do it. Give him a complex personal situation and he is stumped. He just needs to peel the layers of his emotions and he will know what to do.

As regards Moti, I think he does not say anything to her because he too believes that she has sacrificed her life and did not get married and have her own family for his wellbeing and the welfare of his children. Once the Kanji secret and her past is out I am expecting that to change big time. It should be an awesome scenario to watch.
