nandini puts balm on ranvijay's back and talks about his wounds saying the wound marks shouldnt be permanent, if his hands broke then what would happen. ranvijay gives her a look. nandini says loha is cruel hearted, does anyone do this to their own son, didnt his hands hurt from hitting him. gangiya and jamuni come. gangiya pushes jamuni outside and comes inside the room and says ridhi and sidhi are crazy for her. nandini says for them to stay with kaushalya. gangiya says they wont because of loha, and to take ridhi and sidhi to another room so they dont see ranvijay in this condition. nandini leaves. gangiya says if she stays kaushalya will get mad, she will send jamuni. ranvijay says yes, hes in pain. gangiya leaves. ranvijay gets up and fixes his hair while gangiya brings jamuni. gangiya tells jamuni to take care of ranvijay. gangiya watches jamuni put balm on ranvijay's chest. ranvijay touches jamuni's hand. gangiya leaves.
lali looks for shekhar and sees dadaji trying to put beads in a string and drops the beads. lali picks up the beads and says why didnt he ask someone to do this for him. dadaji says he doesnt want anyone to touch them. lali stops. dadaji says she can because he knows she can do it. while lali does so she keeps looking outside the room. dadaji asks why is she worried. lali says shekhar isnt in his room. dadaji says shes worried as if shes his wife, not dasi, shekhar will come back, she is worrying as if shekhar isnt home. lali says what is he saying, she is is dasi nothing else, dasi has to look after malik. dadaji says a dasi is helpless in waiting, a wife is helpless in sufferring from waiting. lali says she doesnt feel like that. lali sees shekhar. lali says she has to go, hes here. dadaji says stop, this bead is sankar's tears which give fruit. he gives it to her. lali takes his blessings and leaves. dadaji says lali is lying, but not her eyes, maybe lali doesnt know this herself, bhagban can see the nauki dulhan is shekhar's dasi but is behaving like a wife now.
shekhar is outside trying to fly a kite and swaying. lali comes and remembers what loha said about shekhar's life getting smaller day by day. shekhar gets dizzy. lali tells him to be careful and holds about the bead. shekhar says he has been trying to make the kite fly for so long. shekhar almost falls. lali holds shekhar up and tels shekhar to rest. lali tries to fly the kite but sees that shekhar is tangled in the strings of it. lali untangles shekhar. shekhar faints. lali tries to wake him. lali goes to kaushalya and loha. lali tries to go inside the room but loha stops her. lali remembers how loha told her not to tell anyone anything. kaushalya tries to go but loha stops her. loha leaves the room and closes the door behind him. lali says shekhar's condition is very bad. loha says he wont get trapped in this nautanki. lali says to go with her and see. loha says this is the beginning, this doesnt mean he will die, he will get sick, vomit and to go take care of him, his condition can get worse. loha goes back in the room and is about to close the door but lali stops him. kaushalya looks on. lali says she will but he should make shekhar well. loha says she should just do her work. lali says she wont let him do this. loha says in this house no one questions him, nothing happens without his permission and he said no one should here about this. lali says she knows. she wont let shekhar be harmed. lali leaves.
