Drishtant Media's Aapki Antara has received critical acclaim for its unique storyline. The track has been tight, gripping and interesting till now and now we hear that it will soon take a leap of about five years.
Informs our source, "Initially the leap was to be introduced within three months of its launch but the overwhelming response and the rising popularity of little Zaynah Vastani who plays the main lead Antara led to the alteration in plans. Now the channel is planning to introduce the leap very soon. It is buzzed that the show will take a leap in about 90 days. Except Zaynah, the entire cast will remain the same."
When contacted, producer Monish Sekhri said, "It is still time for the show to take the leap. Antara's character needs to be more definite before we get into that space."
The show that didn't register encouraging TRPs initially has started picking up recently. Will the leap work in favour of the show only time will tell.
