Damini feels guilty about the children being kidnapped and thinks that gods are angry with her. Ganga tries to console her. Gautam thinks that the best thing is to contact the police. Saahil stops him and thinks that kidnappers might harm the children. Saahil says that Nakul is his son and he is concerned, but would like to wait for a call. Gautam and Saahil fight about the ownership of Nakul. Thulsi stops them. Karan enters with an inspector at that opportune moment. Karan says as soon as he got the call from Tanya, he filed an FIR.
The inspector asks for the details. Ganga and Damini narrate the incident and describe the car. It's a silver coloured Honda City. They manage to recall the registration number of the vehicle too. Inspector tells them that a few cases of kidnapping have been reported in the city, but none in their police station limits. He advises them to talk for a longer period, if they receive any call from the kidnapper as it helps them trace the call. Phone rings at the opportune moment. Saahil moves, but Gautam pushes him back and receives the call. It would be his lawyer trying to speak about the case of nakul.
The inspector leaves Shanthiniketan. Karan rushes out to meet them. He pleads them to find the kids. The inspector says he has collected good amount of information and will give the case high priority.
Gautam asks Damini about Ganga's behaviour when Nakul was kidnapped. Damini does not understand the issue. Gautam explains that he suspects that Saahil is in some way involved with the kidnappers. The hearing of the case is scheduled for the next day and they were restrictions on Nakul being taken out of the city limits. Damini says this is not possible. He asks Damini to watch out for Saahil and Ganga.
Tanya recalls about Bhoomi and is sad. Savitha consoles her. Mohini is surprised at the sympathy shown by Savitha.
The expected call finally does arrive. After a long ring when recording and tracing devices have started, Gautam receives the call. The kidnappers ask for 20 crores. Gautam agrees and asks to speak to Nakul. Nakul asks to speak to papa. Gautam says it is his papa who is speaking. Ganga snatches the receiver from Gautam and assures nakul that he would be home soon. Tanya would like to speak to Bhoomi. But the kidnappers do not allow that and ask them to arrange for the rupees in notes, not in serial order and await another call for other details. Gautam wants Tanya to repeat whatever she has heard (what about the recording???) Tanya is a little emotional and Gautam looses his temper. Karan tries to intervene and Tanya recovers and repeats the instructions of the kidnappers.
Gautam decides to do something to arrange for money. Saahil asks him to let the police try once. Gautam says when his child his kidnapped, he can try all that he please, but with Nakul he does not want to take chances.
Mohini thinks 20 crores is too heavy an amount. Moreover Mihir is not around to arrange for that.
Ganga is angry with saahil. Saahil asks her for a reason. She says that the entire family is concerned with arranging money, but he wants to trust the police? Is money more important to Saahil than the children? Saahil tells her, that if everybody takes the emotional path, who would think logically. It is not that he is depending on the police, but would like to go hand in hand with them, so that they could recover their children. Ganga says that the circumstances have tired her and asks him to forgive her. They just hug each other and saahil asks Ganga to smile a bit.
