i am sorry i dont agree on tht..i dont think anyone can understand this movie whateva she did to take revenge was justified,,,,coz the more she paid the more she suffered can't be measured. she lost her job, jailed ,lost her father, beaten by other convicts...she did everything for love and when it betrays u like this...u have no option then to take revenge...
there was one thing which the director. didnt do....if i would have Sriram Raghvan i would have asked sarika to just sit down and enjoy how the mice eat the flesh of that 😡...it would have been more rocking

And besides....it is totally wrong to compare Ek Hasina Thi with johnny gaaddar...
ek hasina thi is considered one of the best thrillers of the country...
whereas johnny gaddar lacks in several plots...

Ek Hasina Thi and Johnny Gaddar are written and made by the same director, therefore its a perfectly valid comparison 😊
Its fine if one movies' better than the toher, coz that's what I wanna findout on this poll. As you can see, some ppl liked JG better, while some preferred EHT.
And what I'm saying is, even if it was for revenge and I agree with Urmila's character, it was still a negative shades character, taht's what the media meant. She's still not the protagonist who's a victim. Afterwards, she embraces the negative aspects of life as wlel and indulges in "crimes" of her own. Coz technically what she does IS against the law, even though she is totally justified in doing em adn I would ahve done the same.
Tha'ts the beauty of the movie, that it explains how Sarrika, who might be considered the villian in the movie in the sense that hte cops are after her and everything, is still not as evil as the supposedly "normal" Karan Rathod who doesnt have a criminal record and cops behind him, though he does illegal matters underhandedly.

yeah she commited crimes...but practically were they such big crimes😕??? killing a villian lawywer who was a gangster's lawyer, she finished him.. nd thats for good...ok even if she commited crimes. like a true human she surrenders herself to the end. and she goes back to jail. so i cant fid negative. yes if she would have been not caught by the police then she would have been a Criminal in true sense. and yes only mere 1-2 reporters said that and few people...rest of the reviewers called Urmila Hero..and thats why she was nominated for the best actress as well

I'm just saying that i can see why some media ppl will see her with negative shades. For me she was a hero.
My delicious scrumptious saifu was the villain! Ooo evill!
