Why this serial is detrimental to health

Laali represents one of the most weak persons ever depicted on television. It is frustrating to watch that girl barely say yes or no and not know how to stand up for herself. I wish they would portray someone who is stronger and sets an example other than showing this depiction of the frustratingly epitome of weakness !

I think you are not up to date with Indian episodes. In the recent episodes Laali is being shown as a very strong character. Her dialogues against Gangiiya were awesome.

Also when the show started they showed Laali as very strong and it was her who earned for the family.

And it also depends on the situation, she has been sold, SO nore she is at her parents house nor her sasuraal. so she is almost like a slave, and in this type of situation you can't be very strong.

yea she has satrted reacting back, especially at Gangiya. So you will see it in about 2 weeks. I know today we saw that stealing the jewelery episode, so we are exactly 2 weeks behind.

The episode ended today showing Laali owning up to stealing the jewellery - and to be honest, this is overdone hype -- a. she doesn't need to portray herself as a sad sorry creature all the time. Slave - I understand, but that doesn't mean you walk into danger knowingly so that the music director can turn on that "pinjrey mein blahblah" crying song in the background ... Looking forward to the episodes coming up ...

true. I agree with you here. I don't there was a need for her to stay quite, she could have spoken up and said the truth. But I think she stayed quite becuase she doesn'tBut oh well, in the coming episodes we will see a change in Laali.

may be as you are a newbie on the forum you just started watching the show and missed what happen before but this laali is a flawless actress.because her simplicity her acting which is really to be praised is so good she is not weak at all.the situation where she is is weak not her personality or she's dumb.

Laali is strengh personified. In the beginning she was very strong willed and vocal but after finding out she was sold by her parent, her husband is marrying her sister, her best friend is a dancing girl has taken its toll on Laali.

also Lali has feelings for shekhar and in no way is she going to willingly put him in danger
