So her father's name was Mohammad Torquette- Huh? I saw an interview where someone said something like that must be the Kashmiri side to you and she completely ignored that like it has no value.

She did not even say, yeah, that's true.

I have no problem with her being White Christian and trying to make a mark in Indian movies. We are obviously as a culture obsessed with gora skin. All the background dancers seem to be Russian now. So they definitely have a benefit as long as they have black/brown hair and female. We still haven't accepted a male being non - Indian, but that's another issue.

The type of looks she has , she would never get noticed as an international beauty. Westerners don't go with her type of face. She does not have the international standard of beauty when it comes to features. My gora friends find her and Kareena unattractive and don't get it. But, yes Indians will love her.

So, she should be straight with her ethnicity and background otherwise this will fester and only get worse for her as she tries to become more successful.

Plus, if she ever leaves Salman..... that would not go well with the Indian audience. One reason she is getting the attention she is getting is that she happens to be Salman's girl.

Anyway, this is my opinion. There is nothing worse than betraying your ethnicity.
