I was watching POA with my friend and commented that Lupin was the best DADA professor, whereas my friend said no, Moody was

Who do you guys think was the best Defence against the dark arts professor, and say why

remus for sure ,he helped harry o perform the patronus charms ,he was kind too students and very friendly too,he also introduced them to a lot of stuff which was very useful in fighting the dark arts.i personally like him a lot becoz he was a decent man.

Though Harry learned more imp stuff from Moody (with Unforgiveables and all), Lupin was by far the best and most ideal teacher. He was strict, kind, trustworthy, smart, and helped you with about anything.

I agree

Lupin was the best teacher because he was kind but also smart e.g chocolate for Dementors, and especially with Neville he was supportive but not patronising

He atught the students loads of everyday useful stuff

Moody tought The students alot but lupin had all the qualities of a teacher- he was Kind, strict, helpfull confident and supportive. He showed confidence in Neville and Taught Harry the Patronus charm.

Lupin definitely!
He made it fun, focusing on theory as well a practical (oh boy I'm talking like he was my teacher lol)..and he was supportive and helpful..one of my fav characters all around😳

Professor Lupin...he was u cud say the ideal teacher😆😆...

Main point where he scores over moody is that he had friendly interaction with the students.....

Oh, Lupin definitely!

Moody was an informative teacher, but Lupin had that and other qualities a professor should have. I think the people above pretty much named it all.
