I wonder what his brothers are doing and where his father is. I remember my sis telling me that in an interview some 15 or 20 years ago, his father had said that even Vinod's other 2 brothers were good at cricket but they had spent all their money on providing for Vinod to do well in cricket.

Vinod had ample chance but he really didn't do that well in international cricket later on. The rumour was he got that many chances only because of Sachin.

In the Colors show called 'Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina' Kambli was out of the show with his partner Shama Sikander. There he had said he was very keen to win the show 'coz the prize money would have helped him raise his neice/nephew. I think there was some mention of him taking care/adopting them coz they lost one/both parents. Wonder if it was the brother's kids he was talking about.

@orms - well i know , sachin has given this man number of chances to survive. he supported hi mal ot but of he still says tht sachin cud hav helped more then i think kambli actually dun deserve his frendship!

@tvaddict - well havent seen tht show ......but i think he dun hav any alternate career or way of earning thts why he is grabbing every possible opportunity to earn!!

THe history of kamblis behaviour,attitude,lineancy towards career ..points towards he becoming a not-so-good politician.People like him easily get influenced....& looking at his habit of blaming others,he'll do the same here.

If,miracolously he does something really good for the society then fine,but after looking at GOVINDA and SANJAY DUTT i doubt these kinda guys last in politics.
