Diva by the dozen
Bollywood's love for college campuses is no secret, especially when it comes to filming songs. However, unlike most such numbers that are shot in popular colleges in Mumbai or Delhi, Ashutosh Gowariker choose to erect a campus set for What's Your Rashee??. The second song from the film to be aired on television this week, Aaja lehraate, has been shot at Kamalistan Studios in Mumbai over four days. With Gowariker having shot 12 songs for the film, each dedicated to one of Priyanka's characters that belong to different zodiac signs, this one sees the actress playing a fun-loving Gemini. However, shooting for the song was a task for Priyanka as this was the time when she had to be hospitalised for exhaustion and the shoot was re-scheduled by two days. Choreographed by Rajiv Surti, the number has been sung by Bhavna Pandit and Shaan.
Interestingly, though the actress plays a dozen different personalities, the film has been largely shot in Mumbai, with a few portions being filmed at Jaipur and Chicago. A major highlight of the film is the actress' different get-ups without the use of prosthetics. The UTV co-production sees her pairing opposite Harman Baweja who plays a young man in pursuit of his dream girl. The catch is that he has to find her within 10 days in order to save his family from an unforeseen calamity, thus translating into a romantic comedy
