Rishi Kapoor: People in film industry get jealous

A veteran in the film industry, Rishi Kapoor is one of those select few actors who have been a part and parcel of Bollywood for close to four decades and are still active in front of the camera. Though he has delivered innumerous successful films at the box office, he is visibly excited every time a new film of his works. Same is the case this time around too as he sounds really elated talking about the success of LOVE AAJ KAL where he had a key role to enact.

Based on his experience, what does Rishi Kapoor think is the real reason behind the film's super success?


''See, it's as simple as that - If things have to work then everything would fit in well! So many times people are jealous, especially the ones belonging to the film world, when a movie of yours works. Thankfully in case of LOVE AAJ KAL there has been none of it'', says Rishi Kapoor.

Further elaborating on the components that have 'fitted in' making LOVE AAJ KAL the much loved film that it is today, Rishi Kapoor says, ''Whether it is story, characters, dialogues, music - just everything worked for the film. To think of it, would we have imagined Neetu to be a part of the film? Still, it all happened and today I am told that there have been great reactions all over the world whenever she is seen in the epilogue scene of the film. See, such things can't be planned really. (Laughs) In fact now she is being referred to as Harleen in Mumbai!''
