There was so much tenderness in that one shot! Prithvi has really started caring for Damini, and we for sure, can definitely decipher that he's just not merely "doing his job" that he repeats so often to make Damini and even himself believe!
Today I ALSO noticed a potential different dimension in PriDa's relationship. I always thought that both would the "forbidden fruit" for each other. She already being engaged to a boring doter, and he not wanting any ties with the family that might destroy his father. But for the first time, Prithvi noticed that Damini was unhappy about her relationship (with Inder bandar). Therein I can see a different angle emerging to their potential relationship. That of a savior(Prithvi) to the emotionally depreived (Damini) from a potentially loveless marriage, and Prithvi's yearning to fulfill that void in Damini.
Beautifully said. I totally concur..To add to your analysis, here are my 2 ( or rather 100 cents 😛 ):
You know, I had some inhibitions about this scene after the precap because of the cheesiness of the situation but I think the scene was tastefully handled and turned out to have a very tender angle to it. I find something really classy about Gaurav and Chandana, I might have hated the scene if somebody else did it but these two remain their classy selves in every situation, even if it's a cheesy one and make it likeable..
I was never a fan of the zipper scene because it was totally uncalled for, and it's a pretty far-fetched thing for a bodyguard to enter a trial room.. (Though Gaurav's expressions were to watch out for in that scene)...Then I wasn't a big fan of the Toofan-throwing-Damini-off-his-back scene too.. I did LOVE how Prihvi helped her and took her to the house but what bothered me most was the body double and Prithvi repeating lines like "Mujhe apna kaam karne dijiye"..Dude, remember being her bodyguard is not everything to you? But yeah, this cupboard one had its moments, and beautiful ones at that..
Like you, I see PriDa's relation taking a new turn..I believe both Prithvi and Damini are attracted to each other subconsciously but I doubt they realize it. He knows he works for her and doesn't like her high headedness and rudeness, she hates him for not being obedient to her, and for simply being her bodyguard.. They are people belonging to two different worlds and apparently their worlds can't merge, and they're both aware she's engaged. But they're both starting to develop a soft corner for each other. This scene made me think it's the start of their friendship, a bond that looks far-fetched and impossible if you think about it, and a girl being friends with her bodyguard sounds weird. But this is a very filmy and unrealistic story, and generally anything can happen in the fictional world. :-) These two have started to accept each other for who they are, and I'm sure it's the beginning of a beautiful relationship..Prithvi is always there for her, and she too is warming up to him and was visibly concerned about him getting hurt in this scene..
Some things which bugged me about the scene include Prithvi blowing onto her wound though I LOVED his tender side..I do want them to be tender but I also like Prithvi's angry and sarcastic side..So, I'm confused about this..:-p And the line where Prihvi told her not to touch her wound because she might get an infection cracked me up..Dude, what are you saying? That was a mad, mad line to say..And I don't want him to overdo the tenderness bit. And I really really wanted to see the precap part i.e. Damini strangling Prithvi and their 'Door' lines, but sadly they cut it..:-(
.
Btw, I'm really starting to connect to your posts, sista..:-)
And no, you aren't reading lots into nothingness. Their equation is indeed changing..
Too long? Bored? I know..
