Most serial's glorifies pregnancy and ask preg woman to rest all the time making themselves burden on the family at the expense of family member's feelings.
Like RKAB RuMi are scold time and time again for bothering Imli. Also Rani is asked to distance herself from her own husband. Imali is asked to rest all the time Also Yudi is asked to hold Imali's hand lending her a support. What about the female servants in teh palace.
What about laborer woman who work till the last minute before they deliver the baby. What about all those working woman who work till 9th month. what about our moms who had children one after another and did the house work as well as took care of other kids and family member

Being preg does not mean you have to rest all the time. Only if the preg woman is prescribed bed rest either for all 9 months or for few months as a precautinary measures needs to be resting. . Normal healthy preg women should be as active as before just avoiding lifting heavy objects or being over active not to make herself too tired and follow doctor's order. Resting all the time leads to unnecessory wait gain which can be both harmful at the child birth and later.
Such showing sends wrong massage to women suggesting once you are preg you can manipulate and harrass your whole family and make them do anything your little heart desire. Some Women using fake pregnancy to get what they want like money fame man etc. What lessons and msgs are given to young minds who watches such serials. It is not just RKAB there are other serial like Bidai saat phere etc doing or have done the same.
Another thing is if a woman is preg why make them wear high pencil heal shoes? . As preg woman needs to be more careful about triping or falling which can lead to harming unborn.
Preganancy is a time when woman should be kind and nice and more religious not a master manipulater making evil plans or making others follow you around and make them do what your little heart desire or throwing your share of your work on others being burden on them.
What preg woman think or how she acts pass to her unborn in the form of values like what abhimnau had acquired the knowledge of fighting in her mom's tummy in Mahaharat.
So why are serial makers misleading preg women? why don't they ask them to read good scriptures help out others, be nice and kind to others etc.
