very well said..nothing to add...u said it all and I totally agree...but can't digest the fact that howcome decent and innocent guys, participating in this show, are pushed to suffer mentally except Manmohan.

This is a SAFE way for Rakhi to get married. She's more likely to be betrayed if she doesn't get married on television. This way lots of people are watching the show...so r all keeping a close eye on the contestants. It wud be very difficult for the contestants to lie and get away wid it! (for example even Ather Pervez HAD to tell the truth....otherwise he wud definitely hav been caught)...afterall millions of people around the world are watching this show!

denver_diva, you're right, this is a TV show and we should take it for entertainment, but I don't think that necessarily means the marriage has to be fake or a tamasha that is all about money.

It is possible that through a practical arrangement such as this TV show, and even despite getting paid and all of this, it is also still a practical and real way to get married for a TV celebrity such as herself. It also means that through televising this process, jo hai woh saamne hai. This fits in with the rest of her life, doesn't it? Jo bhi hai, saamne hai.

Even arranged marriages are a bit cold and practical. They are not that personal like love marriages. A lot of people get married based on practical arrangements - status, money, family, kundli, and then they tie the knot and treat it like a real marriage. And it seems to work for so many people!

In fact even love marriages have something to do with status and all these other practical compatibility things, like the way people get set up or go on blind dates to try to find someone. It's only in bollywood movies where we see the kind of love at sight kind of love stories where the guy and girl are in love with each other despite every odds.

In this case the practical arrangement also involves reality TV format, that's all.

I think its too early to come to any conclusion. We have to wait till finale. u never know what will happen 2morrow on RKS. Lets see what will be the outcome of this Swayamvar.....Hope all this is not fake...otherwise whatever respect is left for Rakhi will be ruined in sec's....

there is no garunteed safety for any marriage...be it a celeb or ordinary person...similarly, there is no safety garunteed in this swayamvar too...nothing shown in this swayamvar can help them sustain the marriage...the contestants cannot lie about basic facts...but u still dont know what they hide!

and i dont think rakhi is thinking of safety here....she is making big money outta this...try and see the real picture! this is a bigger tamasha than any of ekta-kapoor's series...don't get emotional about it...just take it for it's entertainment value😆

Today i saw in Headllines Today that Rakhi might backout of swayamvar. She is coming to US on Aug 8 for some stage shows.

The way she shows herself so polite and the way she talks anyone can make out she is faking it
