This song captivates in it the essence of what we saw on-screen today. The episode was so high on content, and SO well acted out, that am still getting gooseflesh just thinking about it'..
The episode starts with a re-run of Friday's last part'Arohi hears the truth, hears how Arjun wasn't wrong, how she misjudged him, yet again. And finally, how much the fact that he wasn't at fault affects her. Tha balling of her fist signifies that. But what followed was so gut-wrenching in its approach, that it left me in fearful awe of "that stupid emotion, Love".
Love, the ONLY thing that has the ability to light up your darkest dreams, your saddest hour, and your loneliest path; and the ONLY thing that has the power to break you beyond repair. The realization that Arjun is not at fault hits Arohi in the gut like a bullet. And she succumbs to its pressure. Walking like a zombie through the streets of Mumbai, guilty at what she said and did to him, horrified that she hurt the One Man whom she gave her whole heart to, and pain in the knowledge that she broke the 1 she got in return. She walks on, oblivious to the stares following her, the cars she could've hit, and the fact that it could've been the last walk of her life. She breaks down finally, her composure cracking, the whirlwind of emotions inside her, getting the better of her'.and she sobs, like a child lost in the woods, like a woman who realized that the Love she felt for the Man she gave a heart to, was "so strong, it tore them apart".
Karan Singh, the man of the hour. The man who jokes around, who literally lives life king size, not giving a damn to people. And Karan Singh, a man wounded. Love does not evade anybody, sometimes it makes you wait your entire life before coming to you, while sometimes, It just stands at your doorstep, waiting to embrace you the moment you look up. How could a man like KS be ignorant of this Power??? Turns out, he too has a murky past, one that haunts him till date, the past where his heart got smashed by a girl he loved, a girl who "used and hurt" him; so that now, he too breaks the people who even DARE to over-step the boundary his bruised ego has conjured up around him. That's exactly his plan, to use & hurt Arohi, and to avenge his wounded ego. How Arjun ends up in jail because of this remains to be seen.
Arohi finally makes it to Sur's 'roka' ceremony, drenched, not just by the rain, but also by sheer agony. HP tells her to change her clothes as she is soaked to the skin, so she goes to do as told, a little madness dancing in her eyes. On closing the door, she breaks down again, this time with noisy sobs and hiccups. Rocking backward & forward, she's tormented at the thought of the effect of her actions on Arjun, and then she finally remembers the most poignant remark Arjun had made to her. "Aur tum kabhi mujhe samajh bhi nahi paogi"'.Oh, how her soul must've bled when she remembers his words! She tries to reach him, but maybe Fate has something else planned for them'.leaving her to choke on her tears, clutching her hair, breathless & curled up, realizing the fact that she Loved, she lost, and now she Lives.
