Aaditya Datt, grandson of the legendary lyricist Anand Bakshi and director of AASHIQ BANAYA AAPNE, has moved on to his next film. However, the team of producer Balabhai, music composer Himesh Reshammiya and lead man Emraan Hashmi will be associated with Aaditya's second film as well.
Titled DIL DIYA HAI, the film will star Emraan, Ashmit Patel and Mithun Chakraborty enacting pivotal roles. "I have cast them primarily because they suit my story," Aaditya reveals. While Tanushree Dutta played the romantic lead in Aaditya's debut film, the director is introducing a new talent, Geeta, in this new venture.
While you're reading this news-piece, Aaditya would've already wrapped up a small schedule of DIL DIYA HAI. "I hope to shoot another chunk in February in Mumbai, before I embark on a major shooting stint in Europe. In fact, the film is set in Europe, but since its winter right now, I plan to shoot there in April," the youngster adds. DIL DIYA HAI has loads of romance, drama and action and is slated for a mid-2006 release.
