Staying away from the usual hotspot Goa, Cezanne Khan and his girl friend Shubha went to Bangkok — Pattaya on a nine-day trip to spend New Years. "I had a great time in Bangkok. I also had my brother and cousins along with me. We indulged in loads of shopping and chilled out." Now that the actor is back to work, he said he's going to cherish the vacation. "It's nice to break away from the usual routine and have fun for a while."

After Darna Mana Hai, Kiran Karmarkar (the erstwhile Om of Kahaani) will do a cameo in the Star Plus afternoon soap Saarthi. He features in one or two episodes as an industrialist called Bankim Ahuja. It is learnt that the soap takes a major twist and Karmarkar's entry will be a major highpoint in the drama. Says producer Asit Modi, "It is a special entry in the drama. Kiran is an awesome actor and he was our only choice to do the role. We contacted him and he readily agreed." Karmarkar began shooting for the soap at MBC studios yesterday." His entry will be promoted with great fanfare,"
