I'd like the twist to be something substantial - may be M screwing up studies wise and N helping him out or sthn...OR MN competing in the class n N beating M studies wise and hurting his ego ....

Muuwah babes, you stole the words out of my mouth. WHY would N want to hide her relationship with M? She is the one to scream from rooftops. And M too is cool. He wouldn't need to hide his relationship from ANYONE. Who cares what the world says? What is the need to hide? Are they doing something blasphemous? Why make this story similar to a *cough* show on Star One?

Maybe for once they can show real issues between couples..

I think Mayank would want to make it public....but Nupur might want to wait....i hope that doesn't create tensions between them.

(I am here to talk about who would want to bring the relationship to public and why -- this post has nothing to do with the argument that "if this track will make an interesting twist" or not.)

In this case, I would have to agree with the topic starter and not you folks. I can see where you all are coming from -- in that if anyone would want to hide their relationship, it would be Mayank. Because he doesn't want people poking their noses in his private life. This would be the case, had Mayank NOT realized his love FIRST.

I think that the topic starter's perception makes most sense is because Mayank has realized, tried to fend off and tried to hide the feelings from Nupur for MONTHS NOW. If anything, Mayank is probably relieved that he doesn't have to run away from the feelings anymore. Mayank is a confident guy, and it is not out of his character if he wants to be with his girlfriend, regardless of who is looking on! He could care less.

Whereas Nupur has just come in terms with her feelings, she just vocalized it yesterday, for cryin' out loud. It will take a bit of time for her to digest the fact that they really "seeing each other". So even if she is the extrovert one, I can totally see her needing more time before telling it to the whole world.

Yeah maybe this is what they disagree about!
But then even mayank seemed conscious about the fact that everyone was staring at him and he even told nupur so...and she was the one ho told everyone off...so I dunno what to make of it...
