July 8th - Written Update

JS looks under the bed but Sonakshi is not there any more. JS says to VS that even though she is not in your house, she is somewhere in this village and her ruination is imminent. Vaishnavi looks worried and JS and the villagers leave. Vaishnavi looks for Sonakshi - wondering where she could have gone. Gulu comes to comfort here. Gulu says it is good that she left, otherwise she would have been caught. Gulu says they will find her again. Vaishnavi is still worried - the villagers saw her come in the house, why didn't they say anything. Vaishnavi is tense thinking that something is wrong. She thinks that the witch has nothing to do with Sonakshi and wonders who is really doing all of this and what their purpose is.

JS is saying to the villagers that bahut ho gaye churel ki mann manni. Before they tried to peacefully get rid of the witch but now paani sur se upar ja chuka hain. They are going to search the jungle for the witch and will continue even if it takes all night. They will contirnue until they find the witch and JS us churel ko agni mein samarpit nahin kar deta.

All the villagers go into the jungle to look for the witch. JS's chamchi (the dude that is always close to him) says Wha! The village that always was following VS is now following your every order. Even though there is no witch! You have instilled a great fear of a witch in all the villagers. JS says this is rajniti (politics) and something about smoke and fire in people eyes (don't really understand). JS understands that Sonakshi is VS daughter and so he used her as a witch in the villagers' eyes so when they find out that Sonakshi is the witch (eveven though she really isn't) the villagers won't respect the witch's father and so they won't want VS as the mahapundit anymore. And then he will get to be the Maha Pundit

Someone is yelling for all the Villagers to come with him. They all come with big torches. Vaishnavi and Gulu go search for Sonakshi but the villagers find her and run after her. Vaishnavi sees the villagers after Sonakshi and run toward the mandir (that's where Sonakshi is). Vaishnavi tries to calm Sonakshi. All the villagers come into the mandir with their torches. JS tells the villagers to tie Sonakshi down and everyone tells Vaishnavi to give up Sonakshi. The villagers are closing around Vaishnavi but Vaishnavi yells that this is not a witch but my little sister Sonakshi...the villagers are puzzled. Villagers say that "Yes, this is sonakshi." JS looks
nervous....wondering what he will do next.


Vaishnavi goes to the Kakas (uncles) and tell them stories of how they played with Sonakshi when she was little and says she is the same Sonakshi so how can you burn her today? She needs all of your help. JS is yelling at the villagers ...you murkho (dummies) how can you listen to this girl today? Have you forgotten what she did with Kajri and Lala's daughter ( and many other peoples' daughters). Vaishnavi asks JS if he has ever seen the witch? No, right? then how can he say that Sonakshi is the witch? Vaishnavi says if Sonakshi is a witch, then she would not be able to put her foot in Mata's mandir..Mata has given her asra in this mandir. The villagers say no...it is a paap, to kill in a mandir. JS says your (all the villagers') destruction in imminent and leaves. A villager says that if another incident happens, you will not be able to save your sister.

JS is in his own area and vents his anger. Vaishnavi comes in and JS is even more angry Ends on Vaishnavi's stern face.

Vaishnavi questions JS how could you try to mislead the villagers, even though you knew that there is no witch and JS responds That is the problem that only I know, not the villagers.

I think the main point in the episode is that we discover JS really really bad intentions and the fact that there is no witch. Before this episode, I was sorting thinking that Sonakshi reallly was a witch and she attacked brides because, maybe, she never got to be one so she doesn't want others to be happily married. Oh, well.
