Nagmati acts as if she is blessing Padmini. She then very sarcastically and indirectly tells Padmini that to live in Chittod she would require many blessings. However, Padmini takes Nagmati's taunt very positively leaving Nagmati shocked. Ratan and Abha Devi share a look having seen Nagmati and Padmini coming face to face. Further away we see Gora and Badal standing and looking at all the rituals being performed and at the same time, Gora looks a little uncomfortable but Badal is in awe of everything around.

The rituals begin. Padmini pushes the kalash at the entrance with her foot and enters the palace for the first time. Then she is asked to dip her feet in kumkum and walk on a piece of cloth.

In Delhi, Khushro goes and meets chacheejaan and is shocked when chacheejaan guesses immediately that he has come to ask her about the diamond. Chacheejaan just asks Khushro if Jallaluddin would have given the Kohinoor to his oldest wife when he had 15 other beautiful wives who he could have probably gifted it to? Khushro understands and just before he leaves, he tells her that her son in law and her sautan coincidentally have sent her the same message that very soon she will be freed of her suffering.

Back in Chittod, an old lady explains to Padmini the ritual of putting her handprints in a frame on the mandir wall. The thali filled with kum kum comes infront of Padmini and as she puts her hands inside the thali, we go into a flashback of the time when Nagmati puts her handprints in the frame on the wall when she was a newlywed bride, when her hands retract we see present day Nagmati who takes her kum kum filled hands and hiding them behind her back mouths, I will never let you supersede me. As Padmini is about to put her hands in the frame on the mandir wall, there is no place. Everyone is shocked to see that the frame is filled with fresh handprints. Nagmati standing at the back just says that everyone has to find their own place. Ratan angrily stares at Nagmati. Abha Devi to handle the situation tells Padmini to put her handprints below the already made handprints; Padmini willing does as she is told.

The next Ritual is explained by the old lady to the couple where 7 thalis which are placed on the ground in a line have to be separated from each other by Ratan with his sword without making a sound and then Padmini will pick the thali's after Ratan one by one without making a noise thus indicating harmony and peace in the marriage. Nagmati once again gets a flash of the time when she performed this ceremony and she dropped the thalis down making a huge racket. Back in the present, Abha Devi tries her level best to make Padmini nervous before she performs the ritual but once again, Padmini is triumphant and does it very well. Nagmati gets furious. Then Nagmati tells everyone to move to the Ishaanya hall to perform the mooh dikhaee ceremony that is when Gajendra Singh asks her why he is not given the chance to perform the ceremony that includes him. Nagmati just tells him that in the ceremony he just has to tell his new bhabhisa that he will be a son to her but Nagmati tells him that the ritual is fruitless because he till date never fulfilled that ritual where she was concerned leaving Gajendra speechless.

In Samar Singh's mahal, Samar Singh to everyone's surprise begins to praise and congratulate Gajendra Singh for what he has done in Somnath. However, Gajendra Singh tells everyone that the real hero was King Kannada Sonara and not he. Gajendra then says that the person who should be praised and congratulated is his brother Ratan Singh who has spread Chittod's name right upto Sinhal Dweep. Samar Singh gets upset when he hears this but everyone else present praises Gajendra Singh.

In Padmini's mahal, Saudamini tells Padmini that she did not like the way Nagmati greeted her. When she asks Padmini how she was to talk to. Padmini just tells her that she is glad Nagmati removed her frustration on her right in the beginning so she would be fine from then on; she also tells Saudamini that if she were in her place she would have done the same. Padmini tells Saudamini that there is nothing to worry about.

In the Ishaanya hall, everyone is just waiting to see Padmini. When Padmini arrives, the old lady tells everyone to bless her when they see her for the first time. When Abha Devi sees Padmini she is stunned to see her beauty and naturally her hands go to hold her face but she realizes Nagmati standing behind Padmini staring at her, she puts her hands down immediately. When it is Nagmati's turn and when she lifts Padmini's ghoonghat, she is shocked to see a beautiful looking Padmini smiling at her.
