Selvan sitting alone at the beach thinking how Chandra threw him out of the house. Ramachandran comes there and sits by him and talks to him saying he understands how he feels and the humiliation he had undergone. Selvam asks who he is and what his relationship is. Rama chandram tells him he knows he is the father of Aish's baby and he should be with Aish. Chandra had separated Aish from Selva. He asks if Selva is willing to let go of everything. Ramachandram also says that Chandra may ruin Selva's live. Selva gets really agitated and says he will kill chandra to safe himself and leaves. Ramachandran goes to thecar and opens the door to let Neela out. Ramachanran asks why let Selva go and will he do the job. Neela says this isnot the time to kill Chandra but to separate her from her kinsmen and then get her.

It is night and Selva climbs the wall to enter Chandra's room, he walks up the stairs and into the room(this entire journey takes about 10 minutes - really annoying!). He enters the room and takes out a rope and puts around Chandra's neck. Chandra wakes up and struggles. Selva does not let go and keeps strangling her. Aish enters and switches on the light and starts screaming. Chandra manages to push Selva off and takes a gun and points at him. Chandra screams at Selva and he is totally scared. Aish tells her mother to go ahead and shoot Selva. Chandra looks at both of them. Both Kannan and Rajalakshmi run into the room to see Chandra pointing the gun at Selva and Aish shouting asking Chandra to shoot. Kannan and Rajalakshmi tell Chandra to put the fun away. After what looked like an eternity Chandra tells eveyone to go out she too leaves and locks the door leaving Selva to steam inside.

Chandra calls the police and they take him away despite pleas from Selva, Kannan and Rajalakshmi. Chandra tells the inspector to make sure Selva does not get out of jail ever. Aish goes to her mother and asks her why she did not just kill him. He had spoiled her life and he should die. Chandra just keeps quiet. In Neela's house, Ramachandra is disappointed that Selva or Chandra did not kill the other allbecause Aish came there and difused the situation. Neela tells him as far as Aish is concerned, her mother is not to die but Selva and she cannot kill Selva herself, because then she cannot life with Karthik. Neela tells Ramachandran not to worry because now Chandra will realize that her kinsmen are her worst enemies and traitors and this feeling would torture her first. THODARUM.

Rajalakshmi is talking to her grandaughter Aish. Aish tells her she did everything for Karthik and for Ranjini. Aish tells her grandmother she wanted Selva dead. Rajalakshmi asks her how can she talk like that when only yesterday she had praised Selva for getting Karthik's signature on the divorce papers. Aish laughs and says it is all an act planned by Neela. She takes out her Thali and shows Rajalakshmi. Rajalakshmi is shocked when Aidh tells her she came on her own to teach her mother a lesson. Rajalakshmi is furious and tells her if Chandra finds out there will be hell to pay but Aish is not worried and walks off. Kannan is eavesdropping from outside.

Aish goes to the temple and prays. She then meets Meena and tells her that the baby she is carrying is a sin and wants to make things right and leaves. Meena is confused and tells Karthik about Meena's polambal and that she is afraid Aish might do something stupid. Aish goes to a doctor and tells her she wants to abort the baby but the doctor declines telling she she does not do such procedures. Kannan comes there and tells he will take her to another doctor who would understand her problem and help. Aish follows her. Karthik arrives at the hospital and enquires about Aish. A nurse tells him what happened and that a man had taken Aish away.

Doctor calls Chandra and informs her about Aish asking to abort her baby and that she had refused. Chandra gets angry and starts shouting. Mother comes out and asks what is wrong. Chandra tells her about Aish and asks where Kannan is. Rajalakshmi tells her he went out and has not returned. Chandra wants Kannan to find and bring Aish back,

Kannan takes Aish to another doctor and the doctor mixes some kind of medicine in a glass and tells Aish to drink. Aish takes the glass to her mouth but Karthik comes there and pushes it away saying it is poison and that Kannan wants to kill her. Aish is shock. Karthik oblivious to his surroundings start reminding Aish about Neela's plan. He then tells Aish not to do anything to the baby as it is their baby and will alway be. Kannan is shocked but Aish is touched. Karthik then warns Kannan not to say anything to Chandra and reminds him that he is under the watchful eyes of Neela. If he sasys anything to Chandra, he will be dead. Kannan just stares at him.

At Neela's home - Neela has an angry look and Aish is standing there looking worried. THODARUM.

Neela advises Aish. Tells her not to follow her emotions too much and not to trust Kannan or the others in Chandra's house. Aish tells her she wanted to abort the baby because it is not Karthik's. Neela tells her Kasrthik is now a changed man and he along with his family will accept her and her baby as thiers. She asks Aish to concentrate on bringing Chandra and her people down and asks her to promise not to abort the child or kill her self. Aish promises her.

Chandra and her mother at home. Chandra keeps trying Aish's phone but is not able to get thru. Mother asks Chandra to try Kannan's phone. Just then Aish returns and Chandra ansks her where she had been. Aish tells her about going to the hospital and wanting to abort the baby but the doctor had told her cannot. Chandra says it is true because at this stage, it would be dangerous. She tells Aish to go in and rest. Chandra then says she will arrange Aish and Rajadevan's wedding once the divorce is thru.

Rajalakshmi resting. Kannan comes to her and asks how she can be so calm when Selva is in jail. He asks her why she is not doing anything to bring him out. Rajalakshmi tells him, Selva got what he deserved because he tried to kill Chandra. If he had succeeded, than what would happened to all of them. Kannan tells her Selva was only trying to frighten Chandra because he was angry because Chandra had refused tolet him marry Aish. He tells Rajalakshmi he eheard everything that Aish had told her the day before. He knows that Aish returned to cause trouble for them. He tells Rajalakshmi to talk to Chandra and somehow bring Selva out. Chandra comes there and asks what they are discussing. Kannan and Rajalakshmi tell her about Selva and wants her to bring him out. Chandra gets angry and tells them she will not because he tried to kill her. Kannan says Selva only did that because he was angry with her. Chandra tells Kannan to stop protecting Selva. Kannan threatens saying if he went ot he polcie Chandra too will have to go to jail for shooting Ranjini. Chandra warns Kannan before he says anything he will be dead.

Kannan goes to the police station and meets Selva and tells him all about Aish and how he had tried to kill her by pretending to give her medicine to abort the baby. He tells Selva if Karthik had not come he would ahve succeeded. Selva is surprised and says Aish had been happy when he got Karthik to sign the divorce papers. Kannan tells him it is all an act and that she has been sent to Chandra's house to destroy them. Selva has been the first to be trapped. Kannan also says that he is now under Neela's control and had given her the land papers. Selva is shocked but Kannan says he had no choice. Kannan then tells Selva that he will destroy everyone in Neela's house and get him oout and leaves. A policeman there records everything in his cell without their knowledge. After Kannan leaves, the policeman gets up and goes outside and gives the cell to the private detective hired by Chandra.

The private detective goes to Neela's house. Neela asks him what he has to report. THODARUM.

Chandra points the gun at Kannan and walks towards him saying he dos not deserve to live. Kannan begs her not to shoot and walks back. He walks to the end of the cliff and falls down the ravine. Chandra looks at his body lying at the foot of the clif and leaves. Chandra returns home and sits down thinking. Rajalakshmi sees her and asks her where Kannan is. Chandra tells her Kannan left for Mumbai. Rajalakshmi is surprised and tries to call his phone but cannot get thru. She tells Chandra Kannan is not answering his phone. Chandra says Kannan will not answer his phone anymore.

Neela is at Ranjini's side at the hospital. Neela cries and tells Ranjini that she made Chandra kill her own uncle whom she had asked to shoot Ranjini. Neela promises to take care of everything that Ranjini wanted before she awakes.

A police Inspector comes out with a doctor and asks about a body they found at the ravine. Doctor says can only report after post mortem is done. Another policeman comes there and gives a cell phone to the Inspector saying they found it near the body. Inspector calls the Home No. and Rajalakshmi answers. Inspector tells her about the dead body found and describes him. Rajalakshmi is shocked saying it is her brother. She is asked to come to the hospital to indentify the body. Rajalakshmi goes to Chandra and tells her the news. Chandra tells her it cannot be and the police must be mistaken. Rajalaksmi tells Chandra about the phone found and the Inspector had called her witht he number found in the cell. Chadnra takes her mother to the hospital and identifies Kannan. Police inspector asks why Kannan would have been at the cliff. Chandra tells the Inspector that Kannan was a drunkard and might have ben drunk and fallen down. Inspector tells Chandra she may have to come to the station for enquiry and they can collect Kannan body once all formalities have been taken care off.

Rajalakshmi cries seeing her brother's photo. Aish comes there and tells her grandmother not to cry somuch for Kannan because he was not a good man. Rajalakshmi tells her not to say that. Aish tells her the Selva raped her because Kannan had told him to do so because of the wealth. She also tells her that Kannan had tried to kill her by pisoning her with oretex of helping her to abort the baby. She then tells Rajalakshmi that her mother had murdered Kannan. Rajalakshmi is shocked. THODARUM.

Continues from yesterday - Aish tells her grandmother that Chandra took Kannan out and murdered him and leaves. Rajalakshmi in shock. Chandra with some senior citizens, presumably her company board of directors. One of hte men asks about the problems Chandra is facing with shareholders picketing at her house. Chandra says that is her personal problem which she will take care of. The man says it si not her personal problem because it involves the company. Chandra tells them she has ideas to develop the company to higher level. One of hte man says how can she do that when she not not the biggest share holder of the company. Chandra is shocked and asks what he means. The man tells her that someone else holds 55% shares and she only has 45% and is surprised she does not know about this. Chandra is informed that her mother and daughter had sold their shares an outsider. Chandra asks who own the most shares. Neela walks in and the man points toward her. Another shock for Chandra.

Neela walks to Chandra's seat. Chandra vacates the seat and Neela takes it. Everyone congratulate her. One of Chandra's employee bring a bouquet of flowers and passes to Chandra and asks her to give Neela nad congratulate her. Chandra gives it to Neela silently and Neela says thank you. Neela assures the men gathered there about changes int eh company administration. She says that all accouunts would be made known to them and everyone has the right to give their ideas on running the business. Finally Neela tells them that there will beno secrets. The men thank her and leaves. After the men leave, Neela tells her that she had challenged Chandra and is now succeeding and before her daughter Ranjini opens her eyes, all Chandra will see is darkness and loneliness. She tells Chandra is now care of platform and leaves a dejected Chandra.

Chandra returns home and sees her mother in the leaving room. She goes to her and asks her why she sold her shares to Neela and because of that she has lost everything and feels like she is on the streets. Rajalakshmi tells her daughter that she deserves what she got for all the sins committed. She says she is doesn't wnat to stay with Chandra and leaves. Aish comes with her bag and Chandra stops her and asks her why she sold the shares. Aish says to redeem the throgam Chandra did to Ranjini and her family. Chandra says how can she do that to her mother. Aish says how can she call herself a mother when she had tortured Karthik's family just because she loved him. Asih says she could have accepted if Chandra had wanted to get her married to Selva who raped her but to try and get her married to another man is disgusting. She tells Chadnra that now she has afamily who loves her and she will go to them and leaves.

Chandra at the temple praying for Ranjini's recovery. She prays to Amman to bring her daughter back and to be united with her. At the same time, Aish is doing angaprathashanam. THODARUM.

Continues from yesterday: Neela praying for Ranjini's recovery. She sees Aishwarya doing angaprathashanan. She stops Aish and tells her she cannot do angaprathashanam because she is pregnant and it may hurt the child and her. Aish says she does not care and for her Ranjini's life is more important to her. Aish tells her how Ranjini got her married sacrificing her own marriage to the man she loved. Neela is very touched and proud of Ranjini because she has so many people who love and respect her. Neela takes Aish home.

Everyone is at the hospital. Surgery on Ranjini is going on. After some time, the doctor comes out and tells them the operation was a success and Ranjini is stable now and will fully recover. Everyone is very happy and now we can see smiles on everyones faces. Chandra is alone in her house and she walks around thinking. After sometime, she goes to her closet and gets her gun out and leaves.

Chandra goes to Neela's house and starts yelling for Neela. Ramachandran comes out and asks why she is there and what she wants. Chandra pushes him aside and asks for Neela. Ramanchandran tells her Neela is not around. Chandra gets angry and starts shouting again, paati comes out and the same treatment. Madhu too comes out hearing the commotion. Chandra gets hold of her and threatens to shoot her if Neela does not come out. Madhu calls for her mother and finally Neela comes out and looks at them from upstairs. On seeing her, Chandra threatens to shoot Madhu if Neela does now come down. Neela comes down and tells Chandra to go ahead and shoot. Chandra and the others are shocked. Chandra recovers and says she will shoot and Neela says go ahead. Chandra shoots but no bullets. Neela laughs and says that she knows what Chandra would do and had removed all the bullets. Neela says she is not the old Neela who was so trusting and naive. Neela calls her men and asks them to tie Chandra up in her outhouse and not to give her food or water. Chandra is taken away.

An inspector comes to see ACP, Tharun and hands him two files which containes the finger prints, blood sample and other evidence on Neela and Vasundra. ACP is happy that he can now arrest Neela and gets up to do so.

Neela goes to see Chandra and asks Ramachandran if she has been given food. Ramachandran says no. Chandra shouts saying Neela will pay for tying her up without food and water. Neela laughs and says she is not afraid. Neela tells her that she had suffered for 27 years without her family in a foreign land and just for 2 days Chandra is shouting. Chandra tells Neela the police are looking for her and she cannot escape. Neela replies she is not afraid and tells Chandra to surrender and admit to all her sins. Chandra refuses. Neela then tells Chandra that she should suffer without her daughter just like how Neela did and calls for Aish. Aish is brought by Neela's men. Aish plead to be let go but Neela refuses and takes out her gun and points at Aish. Chandra begs Neela not to kill her only daughter because she loves her very much. Neela is beyong reasoning and shoots Aishwarya and she falls down dead. THODARUM.
