ok di trying my best with translations.
1.in the beautiful city of mithila for whom the princess janaki is waiting??
oh she is eagerly waiting for the arrival of her beloved Ram &so she is looking at the city's entrance.
2.in madura( madurai in TN) there is a tamil sangan(poet's organisation) in which mangal geet is sung every day. listening to the stories of kings the hearts of people r filled with love. there is a sangam in mithila too where golden janaki lives. she lives in the heart of her king(ram).on seeing shri ram her heart is filled with happiness and shyness.
hope i did justice to the original song.
