ya i think by showing veera's death this also could signify that dialogue gayatri said like the fault veera did was unforgivable like killing her child,and creating differences between prem and heer with no fault of theirs and when she realised her mistakes she didn't get a chance it could have been her punishment otherwise she wouldn't have got the punishment ever it could also be a punishment to gayatri for punishing heer with no fault of hers she is trying to punish heer and breaking prem-heer's relation for her good which she has to paya big time more than veera.

when she said those lines...i felt like kicking her and say...exactly! you will too , just like ur dimb daughter did!
