Sorry if it's been repeated, but I'm curious to know.

I have read all the Harry Potter books but I actually don't own them. The Hard-Cover Set is like over $200 but the Soft Cover has yet to be released but it is I'm guessing under $100. So should I buy the Hard cover now which will probably last in a better condition or should I get soft pack?

Well personally I would say if you reallly like them than soft cover books are easier to take places and less cumbersome
And obviously less cheaper

Hmm,the ones I have are hard-cover, but it's not true that the hard cover ones maintain better cos mine are kinda falling apart

I really think you should by the soft cover pack. One reason is that they are cheaper, and if you're really protective of them, keep them in an elastc book cover or something. They'll be fine, I'm sure. Half my books are soft cover and half are hard cover...this is mainly because I somehow got them all for free =) lol

Get the hard cover books in a boxed set.
I won a set, and they are AMAZING!
plus since they are kept in a box, they wont fall apart and will stay in mint condition ^^

I'd suggest you get the hardback set .... I bought all of them in hardback as they came out , and a few months back someone gifted me the full hardback boxed set =D So I have like , two hardback sets now : D The paperback ones are kinda flimsy , and though they do weigh less and stuff , the hardbacks are better in the long run , any day . I'd suggest covering them with some transparent material so that the front doesn't get spoiled with something and stuff .

Oh , and I think , the adult edition covers look better in the Scholastic ones 🤔 I have the Bloomsbury versions, and their children's edition covers are better , imo : )
