Hi ppl,
Ok, like many others, I am not happy with this twist in the serial...Also agree that there are smtimes serious flaws and bloopers with the storyline...But hey, arent we overreacting...Coz personally speaking, Kittu is way way better than some of the other serials that are on air rt now...In fact of all the new serials which were launched in a bunch together on various channels, Kittu is definitely the liveliest and most watchable...Its also got a much fresher feel to it than others...so here are 5 reasons to continue to watch this serial...and as they say keep the faith...:)...
1. Good supporting cast- Ok every one must agree, the leads are good in what ever they are asked to do...Both Ami and Amit are competent actors...Its not their fault if their characters are flawed...It only adds to the fact that they are able to rise above these and not look out of place...
but besides the leads, I think the rest of the cast is also fairly good...even the also rans like Daksha, Shivani and Prabhakar in the office....this new sister of Kittu's bhabhi also seems competent in portraying a rather creepy character....
2. No melodrama- Dunno, if ppl will agree but I think the melodrama is much less in this serial...less of clashing sounds, less of tears...Even the intense scenes rarely get unbearable...
3. Fast Story line- One thing which got me hooked to this serial is the fast pace...In fact it was so fast initially that I almost got restless, but all said and done, its better if things go swiftly rather than if they drag for weeks altogether...At least there is something to look forwrd to in each episode...
4. No avoidable parallel tracks- Alrite, this may change gradually, but as of now there are no avoidable parallel story lines which test a viewers' patients. no funny neighbours which come for the laughs, no neighbourhood vamp who keeps coming to create trouble, no melee of relatives in either the Kapoor or Purohit family. In fact, its refreshing to see 3 nuclear families rather than 5 generations of one family living in a mansion...
5. Amit Varma- Ok, AV fans dont need elaboration on this....its simple...Better AV everyday for 30 minutes than no AV at all...More importantly, you cant keep a good man down...So be sure, he's going to rise above the script and make his mark....I hardly doubt his abilities on that.
Hmm...so these are my reasons...So anyone has any other?
