B-Town was buzzing over the weekend that Saif Ali Khan had got into a scuffle with a couple of security guards at the opening of hairstylist Aalim Hakim's new salon at Andheri. The actor clears the air. The actor was present only for a few minutes at the event as ladylove Kareena Kapoor was with him in the car. So he made a quick entry and exit before zooming off with Bebo.
Hand grabbing
Saif says, "No such scuffle happened. Someone grabbed my hand when I was at the exit gate, I stopped but the security guys pushed the person who caught my hand away. There were a million cameras out there. Do you think if I got into a fight, the TV media wouldn't have recorded it and played it up?"
Aalim Hakim, and his partners, Raj Rao and Nicholas of True Fitness hosted a party on Friday night to celebrate the launch of the new venture. Says the celeb hairstylist, "This is my third salon in the city and having it as a part of the gym this time is a novel and exciting concept. I have taken it a step further by concentrating on wellness and not just styling."
The star turnout included Riteish Deshmukh, Emraan Hashmi, Arbaaz Khan and Sanjay Kapoor. Sallu made a unique style statement with his trademark ponytail. Two of Aalim's favourite stars — Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt were missing as both were in Goa shooting for All The Best.
Some of the other guests included Sunil Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor, Celina Jaitly, Mithun Chakraborty, Sonu Sood, Subhash Ghai, Paritosh Painter, Vishal Bhardwaj, Imtiaz Ali, Chunky Pandey along with some of the TV brigade like Dipsshikha (who was seen showing off her new tattoo done by Aalim) Delnaaz and Rajev Paul, Rohit Roy, Karan Mehra, Siddharth Kannan and Sadia Siddiqui amongst others.
