Written Update 25th May 2009

Raghav refuses to budge and tells Ammaji to shoot. He wants to see the woman who gave birth to him take his life. Ammaji stares at him for a long time and then lowers her gun. She walks into the temple, puts the gun at the idol's feet and takes the sindoor from there in her hand. She comes back to Raghav and dips his hand in the sindoor and puts it on Sia's head. Then she bends down touching her knees and confesses that she has sinned. She apologizes to Doctor for all she has done to them and a general apology. Then she tells Sia she won't apologize to her because what she has done is not small wrongs but big sins. She says she had lost herself in the power hunger. Yogender and Gajender look disgusted and ashamed. Ammaji blesses Raghav and Sia that they may always be together and not have any troubles and leaves. Yogender and Gajender look at Raghav angrily before walking off. Everyone is shocked and relieved at what Ammaji did.

Some people at the temple discuss Ammaji's behavior. And one man says that motherhood can breach even the toughest of people. Bhalaram and Shantaram are sitting on a road side wondering what happened to Ammaji. They can't believe this and wonder if Ammaji is really reforming or she is playing a very big game.this update is written only for India-forums.com

At the haveli Yogender and Gajender question Ammaji and say that none of them can walk upright now and everyone will make fun of them and what happened was very wrong. Ammaji tells them to shut up as she couldn't shoot her son to maintain her status (self-respect) and expect to be forgiven by God or their father up in heaven. She says if she had shot him then they'd have to shoot her down too after that. She says for the first time in her life she realizes what mistakes she has made.
