Puneet Tejwani is nominated for Naya Sadasya

Hi friends, Puneet Tejwani, who plays Shlok on Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai, has been nominated for a Star Parivar Award this year in the Naya Sadsya category. A thrilled Puneet shares his excitement with us. He says, "I never expected to be nominated after just two months on the show. The day the nominations were announced, a friend of mine told me that I would get one but I was not sure. Then finally, I was nominated! I think my hard work, passion and efforts have paid off. I have put my heart into my work and god has been very kind to me."

The actor feels that just being nominated is an honour and says that he won't be too disappointed if he does not win. He adds, "I am excited and nervous. I am thankful to Star Plus, god and my Bidaai team. In two months, I managed to prove myself. If I get the award it will be nice but even if I don't, it's fine with me. I am already a winner. I don't focus on these things."

Talking about his qualities that have earned him this nomination, Puneet says, "Whatever they saw on TV made them nominate me for the award. Also, it may be because of the relationships I share with my fans and costars."

Puneet feels that Bidaai is the best thing to have ever happened to him and says that he is completely satisfied with his role and the serial. Sonali Joshi/Hill Road Media Mon, May 25 2009
