Ekta gets bold with a show on fashion

Who says that Ekta Kapoor isn't changing with time? The lady, who's all long projected saas and bahus, is set to produce a new that show will depict the world of fashion. Kapoor is said to have been inspired by Madhur Bhandarkar's 2008 hit flick Fashion. Seasoned actress Amrita Singh marks her return to television with this show.

Talking about the show, a source says, "This is Amrita Singh's first soap after Kkavyanjali. Tentatively titled Fashion, this daily is scheduled to go on air next month and will probably air on NDTV Imagine. Singh plays a head honcho of a fashion house and her character is inspired by real life designer Ritu Kumar. Ekta is trying to rope in two more big male stars. Plus, ace designer Manish Malhotra will be regularly associated with the show. This is perhaps Ekta's biggest show ever."
