Shahrukh, Salman to come together in a film?
The two Khans haven't come together ever since their cold war started last year. Now, a Bollywood director wishes to change that.
Not that director Sanjay Chhel is trying to play a peacemaker between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan . He just wants them to make cameo appearances in his ambitious movie on the film industry.
Just like Luck By Chance , Chhel's movie too would take a funny and satirical look at the working of the Hindi film industry. To be made on a relatively skimpy budget of about 6-7 crores, the movie will have guest appearances by many stars who will play themselves.
Chhel says he wants to approach Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir Khan for the cameos. If the three Khans agree to it, it would be nothing less than a casting coup because they have never come together in one film so far.
Shahrukh and Aamir last played cameos in 'Luck By Chance', while Salman and SRK were seen in a song sequence in Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om , which was studded with cameos galore.
Besides the Khans, Chhel also plans to approach other Bollywood stars.
The movie, tentatively titled 'Fantastic', was previously supposed to be made on the budget of Rs. 10 crore but given the present slowdown in economy its budget has reportedly been slashed by 30 percent.
