Rani upset cuz of Haddippa's delay

Rani Mukherji, the ever-loyal actress of Yash Raj Films, is upset with the production house. The film Hadippa, in which she stars opposite Shahid Kapur, has been on the grounds for longer than most YRF projects. The film is far from complete and since Rani has only this one project in her kitty, she is terribly unhappy over the delay.

"She is quite angry as the director (debutante Anurag Singh) has not been able to shoot according to schedule. And now they have decided that the script needs to be reworked. That means the film will take much longer," says a source close to Rani.

We heard Rani has shed her extra flab for the film. She hasn't been spotted at any public event in the past few months, probably because she wants to keep her look under wraps and make a surprise comeback with the film. So, if Hadippa is nowhere close to complete, her anxiety is justified.

It's not just Rani who is pestering the production house to speed up the project. Shahid, who is way busier than her, also wants the film to be completed soon since he has limited dates for the shoots.

"The dates Shahid had have been given to Parmeet Sethi's film which also stars him," says the source. The star is currently also shooting for Ken Ghosh's film Yahoo. Well, Shahid's date problems may get solved but what about Rani who has only Hadippa to bank upon? Let's see whether the film gets completed on time or a frustrated Rani signs up for some other one.
