i have a really dreadful feeling that salman's going to go out next week. and its a pretty logical conclusion too, looking at the facts:
1. salman's bad week will cost him A LOT.
though salman fans might vote a little extra, he'll still be loosing a lot of votes from people who usually vote based on good performances--the "in-betweeners" who aren't die hard fans, but acknowledge his dancing abilities and give him votes because of his performance. many people who vote for salman wont this week, and that'll cost him more than what he will gain from extra votes from salman fans.
2. zee doesn't need salman anymore.
salman caught a lot of people's attention from the beginning of the show--mostly because of his amazing body, looks, and slick dancing. people, especially girls, were attracted to his silent charm. by the time voting started, he had quite a lot of fans. when zee realized his, they hyped him and gave him more footage..and soon his "silent charm" was no longer silent, but full-blown and swoon-worthy. hebecame the heartthrob of DID in every sense, and the votes poured in. however, as time passed, the other contestants started catching the audience's eye as well. jai's fan base began to grow exponentially, and siddesh's charm was much more widely recognized. alisha went from the bottom 2 to the top 3...and so on. people are voting more and more for other contestants, and zee no longer needs to capitalize on salman to get the votes pouring in anymore. it wont be surprising if he gets eliminated before finals.. zee wont bother to keep him in the show.
3. sunita probably won't leave.
geeta ma really deserves a round of applause. sunita performed to the dance form of her region, which probably appealed greatly to the avid voters of east india. the regional votes will pour in for her, and i highly doubt she will be eliminated. alisha, prince, and siddesh won't leave--they're a pretty consistent top 3. so that leaves jai and salman. as i said before, jai's fan base is growing EXPONENTIALLY. people are recognizing his talent a lot more, and something tells me he's going to be safe next week. and i sincerely hope he is, because he TOTALLY deserves it, maybe even more than salman.
however, i do believe there are a number of reasons why he might still stay. salman still has a pretty large fan base, and im REALLY hoping that that'll be enough to pull him through this week. if salman leaves.. a lot of hearts will be breaking in the next week.
