Hi Jitesh,
In a way, this humanises DM. Shows him as a man with flaws, and not as this great person he imagines himself to be. He has not yet realised that he has not accorded the justice Santo deserves as a wife. The day he understands that, he is going to be shocked and sorry. We are all looking forward to that and the events that will follow, DM finally accepting Santo as his wife😊

That's a good one ..
Although DM has never thought that he is God, but does try to emulate being the almighty for the villagers .. in the process, overlooking his own flaws!
