We already said after we have seen some asian dramas liking a hindi serial was hard. The expectation becomes high. But I was windering how many reasons are there? đ
My reasons
1. Story progress :: Indian ones just don't work anymore. Maybe if I saw a decent one it would make sense. But I can't remember the last time I was satisfied. One day the guy hates the girl, after two days he is in LOVE with her. Even though the girl has done nothing exceptional. On the other hand the girl has showed little to no signs of being interested all of a sudden she is IN LOVE with him too. As days go by it only seems to get worse. Love doesn't even make sense. How exactly does love happen? Times are changing but shows are still filled with moral values from 17th century. Why does a woman have to be a complete airhead to be a good righteous person?
2. very very very very very (almost none) variety with same spice:: When a show starts the audience says oh this is a little different. Two days later it all goes back to the same thing. Rich guy, middle class girl (because middle class is the new untouchable), and scheaming family. I have noticed many asian shows also do the same thing but the story takes different routes. They are told differently. Almost all indian ones are told int he exact way in different order. Except for a handful (forget handful maybe one or two) all the guys are "BUSINESSMEN". ::yawn::
3. I am a crazy love triangle fanatic but has there every been love triangle in hindi serials without one of them being backstabbing villain? There are some..(only some..but those are like old people triangles now that I think of them) Indian love triangles are so dissapointing.
