Apple has come up with university students offer on their iMacs and Macbooks range. Came across this site http://www.apple.com/in/students/ , it's worth a look. Many students can afford mac now... Cheers!

Macs start from 53 k now. Prices have come down for Macs considerably. You check the site and see for yourself. You can avail university student offers and get the benefits.
