I think the bad one here is "choti ma" who has pretty good reason to take revenge on "badi ma". Remember that Choti ma was to marry badi ma's husband (or something like that) ??
Choti ma must have done something and badi ma got into the trap and alekh must have thought that Badi ma did all the wrongs ..!!
