april 22nd: Hanuman devices his unique plan

Part2:

Lav and Kush decide that feeding an old man is the work of great virtue, so they will definitely help the old man. Soon they find a banana tree and pick the fruits from there and bring them to Hanuman.

Hanuman is very happy to see them bring their food.

He alone finishes half the bananas brought, and then asks the brothers to eat. They were surprised to see how peculiarly and how fast he ate all the fruits. But they were hungry and even they finished all that was left.

Then hanuman decides to REST FOR the night.

Lav and kush doesn't like this but hanuman stays put. Then he says he has terrible pain in his legs. Lav and kush tend to his feet.

Soon he feigns sleep. Lav and Kush, who didn't like the idea of resting before also, decides to run now .

Hanuman laughs and from Kailash, even lord Shiva and Mother Parvati laughs too.

Lav thinks they have thankfully got rid of this old baba RAMDAS but kush thinks he is not that bad at all.

The moment they take his name, they find him in the pond nearvy. Hanuman makes some fictitous pray that shows that he is going to kuber lok too.

Lav and kush decide to follow him.

Part3:

Its morning. Apparently Baba Ramdas wakes to find two very eager boys holding fruits for him. Lav and Kush starts to butter him to take them on his way to kuber lok. At first hanuman plays up to their innocent trials to win his heart but declares that they are tooo young for such a dangerous journey.

Then lav takes over. He has lots of skills in talking and he starts to butter Hanuman more.

Hanuman laughs and reports to lord Shiva that it is time now to make Lav and kush ready for the quest.

So he shouts where did his bag vanish. Lav and Kush say that they donot know.

Hanuman says, of he doesn't get it back, they cannot go to Kuber lok as the instructions for the road was hidden there only.

Hanuman then sends them to find his bag.

As soon as lav and Kush are gone, he takes the guise of a ghost.

I may not have minded more human adventures for K-L, but this has been ridiculous. Also the amount of time spent on this - more than a week now!

Also, am I the only one who is left pretty galled at the depiction of Hanuman (and had one not known better, might one be forgiven for thinking that Hanuman was so mean as to keep tormenting these kids, who are trying to salvage the fruits of their guru's work.) The Sagars may think that they are doing Rama, Hanuman, Kush, Luv, Sita, et al favors, but I for one come of with more negative perceptions than I otherwise have, and have to re-read the originals to remind myself that the reality was otherwise. Although too precise!

What's the serial we're watching again?

Yup, Mallika, I too am curious about their TRPs. If after all this cooking, their TRPs are low, it would be funny if it weren't so sad.

And yeah, what was that stuff about Gurmeet and Debina working? All I see is she pouring milk over a Linga, which is a re-usable shot any number of times. I thought Gurmeet said in his conversation to Chandni that Lavanasura scenes are being shot. So when are we expected to see him - when Shatrughan's kids are adults?
