COWS and BULLS - New game - Play and have Fun

Hi all,

I have game for you guys... It will be hard to understand at first- as i am not a good comunicator- but sure it will be interesting..
We name it Cows and Bulls

Cows(C) being correct and Bulls(B) being Wrong.

A person thinks of any four letter word - should not be a name and should not contain repeated letters.

Others need to guess the word.. The guess should also be four letter word without repeating letters and no names. One person can post one guess and wait for the clue.

When the guess is posted, the person who gave the question will post the clue as follows.

If the guess is correct - All correct.
If the guess has any letter in common with the actual word, the person will post the number of letter that are common and in the same position as C.

The number of letters in common and different position will be posted as B.

If there no common letters - NC

I think I'm not clear.

So see the below example.

Person Thinks a for letter word. _ _ _ _ (Let us say I had "Boys" in my mind)
Person 2: Guess - FOUR
Person 3: Guess - FIVE

Person 1: FOUR - 1C
('O' is common and in the same position - this will not be posted.)
FIVE-NC (Nothing common)

Person 2: Guess - STIR
Person 1: STIR - 1B
('S' is common and in diff position- this will not be posted)

Person 3: CABS
Person 1: CABS - 1C, 1B
(B and S are common 'B'- diff position and 'S'- sme position - this will not be posted)

The game continues until the word is found.
