The following will work.
Dim con As New ADODB.Connection
con.ConnectionString = "Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle;Data Source=MyOraDb;" & _
"User ID=scott;Password=tiger;"
con.Open

I have used source as MyOraDb, user id as scott as password as tiger. Change these values as per your requirement.

try going into the odbc oracle and give a connect string in oracle odbc, you will be able to connect.

did it work btw???
I'll post my query abt connecting a vb form to more than 1 table simultaneously...will hv to look through my old project first though :-s
