My friend told me since Slumdog is so big here in the US, fashion shows are trying to add Indian fashion into everyitng. So one segement on a tv show was 'how to wear a sari everyday in your wardrobe.' In the segment the stylist said to take a 'sari' (god knows what it was or how it resemembled a real sari. I did not watch the show so I can't say). Anyway, the stylist said the 'sari' can be worn as a scarf, as a shawl or as a headband...

that is NOT how you wear a sari....😡
