Jatin Shah and Priya Bhatija are all set to tie the knot tomorrow in a typical desi way but you won't catch the couple talking about it. Nope, they'd like to keep things as private as possible and that's why we have to rely on a source close to them to get the lowdown on their nuptials.
THE source says, "They will be getting married in a place near Oshiwara. The list of invitees includes Jay Bhanushali, Naman Shaw, Ali Merchant, Sara Khan, Ram Kapoor, Hiten Tejwani, Karan Patel and many others from the industry."
As for parental approval, the couple who are of different religions (Jatin is Gujarati and Priya is Sindhi) have had no issues. The source adds, "There wasn't any problem as such. Both sets of parents were cool with it. The couple decided to marry a month ago but wanted to keep it a secret."
The wedding is estimated to take place with all the tradition Gujarati customs. The source elaborates, "It will completely follow the Gujju rituals. There'll be no non-vegetarian food and no alcohol. There won't even be a hint of Sindhi culture."
Last month, when we asked Priya details about the marriage, all she was willing to disclose was, "The wedding will take place in a very simple way and we will be inviting only close friends. After the marriage, I might take a week of leave to go to Gujarat, as Jatin's family is there. He is Gujju and I'm Sindhi, and we will be getting married according to the Gujarati rituals."
We also found out that Jatin's friends plan to surprise the couple by gifting them a microwave and then throwing the newlyweds a party after the marriage.
