Caryn , Shiva is a new intro today .. His small screen name is Venkat .. He has acted in annamalai serial as "subbu" , Penn & is acting in Senthoorapoove , Athi pookal serials ..

Yesterday, in Singapore, we watched the episode where Meera and Ranjan are in the ambulance getting ready for the suicide bombing. Both Meera and Ranjan make references to a make-up kit. And, before Meera boards the ambulance, Ranjan tells one of the other terrorists that there should be no sentiments and they should see the suicide bomber as just a tool. He also says he has trained her thoroughly. This gives added weight to the theory advanced by one of our readers last week that Ranjan must have made up the mad girl to look like Meera and trained her to do the suicide attack.

If so, Meera and Sujatha are probably the same person, using different hairstyles and types of dressing to deceive her friends. But, I wonder what has happened to Arti. Did Meera have eleventh-hour compunctions about using her and sneak her off to Singapore before setting her house on fire to deceive the police?

So, Elango is starting to suspect Ganesh's relationship with Arti. Looks like he will do some snooping to fix Ganesh by accusing him of having killed Arti. I hope Meera or Maya will fix Elango and get him out of the picture; can't stand him for lusting for his sister-in-law and wanting to marry her.

I do like this suspense; a welcome change from the run-of-the-mill family story where women shed buckets and buckets of tears. I also like Meena's role though I must say she is more a pretty face (notice, I didn't say body) than a good actress.

Just saw yesterday's episode online. Netra forgot to mention that Siva (Venkat) is a talk show host. And it seems, from the conversation, that Sujatha is also in the media industry. In fact, Meena said in one interview (can't remember where) that she is supposed to be in the media industry. Which could mean she is an investigative journalist who tried to penetrate the group of revolutionaires but couldn't stop the suicide attack and thinks she has unwittingly caused Arti to commit suicide. She may have originally been posted to Singapore by some Indian newspaper, came back to Chennai to do her investigative journalism, returned to Singapore to work and now is back in Chennai to make penance for having caused Arti's "death".

Just speculating 😉
