Yesterday, in Singapore, we watched the episode where Meera and Ranjan are in the ambulance getting ready for the suicide bombing. Both Meera and Ranjan make references to a make-up kit. And, before Meera boards the ambulance, Ranjan tells one of the other terrorists that there should be no sentiments and they should see the suicide bomber as just a tool. He also says he has trained her thoroughly. This gives added weight to the theory advanced by one of our readers last week that Ranjan must have made up the mad girl to look like Meera and trained her to do the suicide attack.

Just saw yesterday's episode online. Netra forgot to mention that Siva (Venkat) is a talk show host. And it seems, from the conversation, that Sujatha is also in the media industry. In fact, Meena said in one interview (can't remember where) that she is supposed to be in the media industry. Which could mean she is an investigative journalist who tried to penetrate the group of revolutionaires but couldn't stop the suicide attack and thinks she has unwittingly caused Arti to commit suicide. She may have originally been posted to Singapore by some Indian newspaper, came back to Chennai to do her investigative journalism, returned to Singapore to work and now is back in Chennai to make penance for having caused Arti's "death".
