Our political system needs change: Reena Kapoor

As part of our column 'If I could...I would...' pertaining to social causes, Reena Kapoor speaks on the causes that she would fight for, if she could.

"Fighting for a social cause? I'll have to think about it," said Reena surprised. "I think our politics needs to be reformed. I was quite terrified after the recent terrorist attack. And the people's reaction to it, they were taking part actively and revolting after the attack, which shows our unity and togetherness."

Reena continued: "It is high time that we stand together and think of doing something about our political system. There are so many wrong decisions made and I think it needs some reshuffling."

She added: "I would like to create some awareness. Changes won't happen overnight but has to be brought about gradually to see improvement. I would spread awareness through messages like SMS and stuff, conduct meetings and have discussions together. If things are done in the right manner and if all of us stand together as one family, I am sure changes will happen for the better and we can live in a much better world."
