Bollywood and politics have always gone hand in hand. As the Lok Sabha elections edge closer, stars are getting ready to either campaigne for the various political parties, or stand for elections themselves. And then there are some stars who have not attached themselves to any party, but are trying to create an awareness in the general public to vote.

Certain stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta are still non-commital about their party allegiance, even though they have been approached -- in this case, by the Congress.

The Congress party has declared that SRK and Preity will campaign for Minister of State for Home Affairs Sriprakash Jaiswal, their candidate from Kanpur. Here's a look at the stars, who are doing their bit for the upcoming general elections.
