Nikki was rooted to the place when she saw saksh there. She stared at him in dismay, she felt her heart will jump out of her body with trepidation, she felt thunderbolt in her mind. She could not lift her eyes that have many questions. However, the girl whose name was sugandhi was looking at Nikki very carefully. Sugandhi understood what was tormenting Nikki right now. She did not want to let go this opportunity that had land surprisingly in her DAMAAN.

Sugandhi: hum batate hain aapko'.and than she narrated everything that had happened there'''

Bpujariji ( continued) : galati humaari hain'..dar asal rajkumari ji har saal eesi din ye khaas puja karvaati hain''.(nikki averted her glance towards pujariji and wanted to stop him because he was unknowingly blurting out the secret that she did not want anyone to know because nikki knew that saksh will understand entire situation but words were not forming and her mind was in daze she felt that words were chocking in her throat and making lumps. She just stood there rooted realising today everything is happing to create some short of disaster. She held her puja ki thaali very tight and started to dig floor with her toe nail and she felt if in this moment she could disappear in thin air than she would not have to feel embarrassment in front of saksh)

Saksh looked at her ardently and understood nikki's trauma. Sugandhi who was witnessing this situation, was just watching both of them carefully.

Sugandhi put that dhaga to nikki's trembling hand. Nikki felt that any moment she will lost her control and start crying.

Nikki took that dhaga and buried in her feast. She was unable to face sughandhi and Saksh she was heartbroken.

Sughandhi was searching nikki's face and watching all reflecting emotions carefully. She, with eagle eyes, was observing Nikki's all reactions. Saksh who was busy talking with pujariji, was unaware of all this.

Pujariji asked saksh: sakshji aaj aap jaldi aa gaye''? Aap bhi har saal aaj ke din puja karvaane ke liye aate hain lekin thodi der se''..

Saksh looked at nikki from corner of his eyes and he realised that nikki heard what pujariji told him he also did not want nikki to know about it but now it was too late.

Saksh: ji who aaj sugandhi ki wajah se hum jaldi aa gaye oose baad main shopping karnaa hain aur who chahte hain hum pura din oon ke saath bitaaye to jid karke hum jald le aayi.

Nikki was dejected hearing saksh's words. she did not like that saksh had some one who was very important in his life and with whom he wanted to spend entire day and from his talk it was clear that he was very delighted and excited. However, the matter right now bothering to nikki was, that why saksh did not tell her or ever mansion anything about any other girl in his life.

Pujariji and saksh was still talking.

Bpujariji: achha to ab hum chalte hain .hum matarani se prarthnaa karenge ki aaj ke din aap ki har kaamnaa puri ho aur har khushi mile.''.jay mata di.

Saksh: jay mata di

Nikki thought khushi?////// hume to sirf khushi ki ek kiran mili thi lagta hain who bhi andhkaar main lupt ho rahi hain humaare saamne'

Saksh turned towards sugandhi and Nikki who were standing there listening to their conversation. When Saksh's eyes fell on Nikki he felt that something was bothering Nikki because her misery was clearly written on her face. He thought because of that argument with sugandhi Nikki was hurt and upset.

He was concern for her : kyaa huva nikkiji aap theek to hain na?

Nikki tried to collect herself and cast hasty glance at sugandhi and without looking into saksh's eyes : ji hum theek hain'..

Saksh: lagtaa hain ees sugandhi ki bachchi ne aap ko paresaan kar diya.

Sugandhi: achchha ji ab humne kyaa kiyaa.( she pretend to be upset) ees main humaari kyaa galti hain? Lagta hain een sab ke pichhe bhagvaan ki hi koi lila hain.( she cast penetrating glance at nikki who was still looking at floor and digging it with her toe nail.)'..kyun raj kumariji'..

Nikki fumbled with this sudden question she did not understood how to react'.she thought ya it was god's wish that she could witness saksh with some other girl that she had never think not even in her dream. Her eyes became moist she cleared her throat and replied.

Nikki: ji'

Saksh realising nikki was still feeling anxious about that matter tried to create light atmosphere.

Saksh: haa aapki to koi galti ho hi nahi sakti 'galti to humaari hain jo humne aapko yun akelaa chhod diya. Aapko to humaare saath hi rakhna thaa.

Nikki was getting anxious with each passing moments. Saksh and sugandhi's closeness was actually making nikki restless. Though nikki was trying to maintain her faint smile on her stressed face. Nikki wanted to run away from there it was unbearable for her to see saksh bonding with another girl. However, she was confused about her raging feelings but she felt that she was feeling jealous. Yes, she was feeling jealous and heartbroken too.

Sugandhi: are baaba ''.ab bahut ho gayi humaari taang khichaayi . ab kyaa aise hi khade rahenge aap humaari pahechaan nahi karvaayenge rajkumariji se.

Helplessly nikki looked at both of them. She was still rooted there like rock.

Saksh: are haa'..hum to ye bhool hi gaye chalo karvaa dete hain aur hume yakin hain aapko mil kar nikkiji ko bahut khushi hongi'..

Sugandhi: oho ye baat hain ''''chalo to aisa karte hain ki hum khud hi apni pahechaan de dete hain'''hummmm

Nikki wanted time to stop in this moment. She was on denial. She did not want to hear what relation this girl share with saksh. She felt if reality will come out, it might snatch from her the only thing she had, her world of imagination where she had created her own beautiful world with her dreams and desire. Her desires to be part of someone's life, her wishes that someone become part of her life.

Kuchh baar kuchh baate anjaani rah jaaye to hi achchhaa hota hain, dil ko sukun rahetaa hain. Kyunki kuchh rahasya saamne aake saare sapno ko chur chur kar deta hain. Ees pal main nikki ko yahi lag raha thaa.

She wanted to close her ears. She felt the words she does not want to listen should not reach till her ears and should get shattered on their way.

Ek to taptaa suraj thaa jo apni tapis se oose jala raha thaa oopar se ek kala baadal ooski aur badh rahaa thaa ooski jindagi main andhera karne ke liye.

Blankly nikki was starring sugandhi and saksh.

Sugandhi: hum jo eenki(pointing towards saksh) jaan hain. Hum jinki khushi ke liye ye kuchh bhi kar sakte hain.(she put her hands on saksh's shoulder with affection and lean her head on her shoulder nikki was silently grieving )'''hum jo oonki jindagi main ek khaash jagaah rakhte hain aur koi waha tak pahunch bhi nahi saktaa''

Sugandhi was carefully watching nikki while putting stress on each words coming out of her mouth. The effect of her words, she could clearly see on nikki's changing emotions and facial expressions and body language. Saksh who was oblivious of this was looking at sugandhi with mischievous smile.
